‍Here is what you can expect from your ZAP anesthesia care experience:

1. Prior to your procedure or surgery you will receive a phone call from a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Anesthesiologist
2. We will collect all information needed for pre-procedure anesthetic evaluation: your medical and surgical history, testing information and other history needed for safe anesthesia.
3. We will explain and walk you through anesthesia for your procedure or surgery, discuss preoperative and postoperative instructions.
4. If it is necessary we might ask you to gather information from your regular doctor or come and see us for the preoperative visit
5. On the day of your surgery or procedure, you will meet your ZAP anesthesia provider who will provide you with safe, high quality anesthesia care.
6. After your procedure or surgery, we will recover and monitor you until it is safe for you to be discharged home with post-anesthesia instructions.
7. On the next day after your procedure you will receive a call from a member of your anesthesia team to follow-up on your recovery and anesthetic experience.
